OUR WEEKLY SUNDAY BULLETIN

“DESPOILING CREATION”

“God is concerned not just with his creation as a whole, but with every living creature individually. It is true that his care for the whole world never fails. Thus, if the whole creation deteriorates through the activities of particular creatures, God takes corrective measures, bringing the whole back to himself. In the case of animals and insects he is never angry, because their misbehavior is irrational. But human beings are rational; so if human beings despoil his creation in any way, he rebukes and punishes them. It is the purpose of all creatures, rational and irrational, to play their part in fulfilling God’s purpose.”

adult catechism class

On Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, Fr. Deacon Trevor instructs an adult Catechism class. This will be held in the church. This is for older teenagers, young adults, and adults. We have snacks that we bring beforehand, so that all can enjoy and dine together, and we never want anyone to leave church hungry! All are welcome!

The eparchy has an Office of Religious Education. Their catechetical material is at the bottom of the home page of the eparchial website. This contains a great deal of information that can help you to instruct your children about Faith.

A group of people gathered around a long wooden table in a classroom or meeting room, listening to a man standing and speaking. Bottled water is on the table, and the room has a chalkboard, a cross on the wall, and ceiling lights.

Potluck sundays

On the first Sunday of every month following the Divine Liturgy, our parish hosts a potluck. Everyone is invited, all who attend our parish, or who are simply visiting. No one shall leave our church hungry.

Our next Potluck will be in August
